Greenwich Village Residence

This pre-war apartment is located (infamously) in the building where Jimi Hendrix lived and died. The space had many unique characteristics and views that included the Empire State Building uptown. The client was relocating from an apartment on Christopher Street we designed several years prior, and the challenge was the integration of a number of pieces of furniture and custom-designed cabinets into a new space with a similar sensibility of warmth and tactility. The project included a new kitchen and bath, as well as new finishes, art, and objects.
