Baldinger Lighting Showroom
The underlying principle of the Baldinger showroom is the notion of an “installation.” We treated the walls, floor, and part of the ceiling as a color palette that acted as a backdrop for the internal exhibit system. What became the lighting display panels were envisioned as a flexible architecture, capable of defining the actual showroom space while functioning in a completely subservient fashion to the Baldinger product. These panels allow for an internal flexibility, enabling product change, but also have the ability to be removed and replaced whenever necessary. In fact, the whole system can be deconstructed and re-installed in a new location with moderate cost and effort.
