12th Street Loft

Located in a former turn-of-the-century horse stable, this bi-level pied-a-terre for a museum director and his wife presented numerous obstacles to the design team including challenges of privacy, acoustics, plumbing, and light. The space was essentially “gutted” and rebuilt in order to accommodate the client’s requirements. The apartment features an abundance of display space to hang an extensive collection of contemporary photography.
